We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative /Veterinary Assistant  to join our team! You will be responsible for assisting the RVTs and Doctor in the treatment of the patients as well as helping customers by scheduling appointments, rooming patients, and answering veterinary medical questions.

Skills needed:

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints

• Provide information about the products, prescriptions and services
• Troubleshoot and resolve client issues and concerns
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Room clients and patients
• Filing and shredding of client records
• Reminder calls, patient update calls
• Invoicing and receiving payment for appointment
• Animal Restraint
• We would prefer the candidate have some experience with performing veterinary technician duties ie) nail trims, cytology, injections/vaccinations, using diagnostic equipment etc.

• Qualifications:

• We would prefer the candidate have previous experience in veterinary hospital front office but will train the right candidate
• Be interested in learning more veterinary assisting with the possibility of becoming an RVT
• Ability to build rapport with clients and patients
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A commitment to the field of Veterinary medicine

This is a full time position, Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:30 with the possibility of occasional overtime. Salary will be dependent on experience, but we are offering
$ 16 to $ 17 per hour with benefits. This position offers you the opportunity to learn on the job and for the possibility of achieving your RVT.
