We are seeking a cross-trained , skilled Veterinary Assistant (RVT a plus)/Customer Service Representative to join our team! We are a single doctor practice providing quality care tailored to our patients’ needs in a pet friendly environment since 2000. We take a truly ‘wholistic” approach – considering our patients’ psychological, emotional, and physical well-being in every aspect of care. We offer a full range of general practice and surgical services as well as unique serices including acupuncture, chiropractic care, rehabilitative services, new pet counseling, seniour pet/chronic pain evaluations, and cold laser therapy.
We are a small, close-knit group offering plenty of opportunity for further education/CE. We are closed on the weekends, open Monday through Friday 8:30-5:30 with minimal overtime. In keeping with a good work/life balance, we have one additional paid day off each month.
Responsibilities will include assisting the doctor and other team members in the treament of patients including but not limited to low-stress restraint, diagnostics including the ability to perform blood draws, prepping and assisting in surgery, and filling prescriptions. The customer service role includes rooming patients, scheduling appointments, and to act as liaison between doctor and client providing information and answering questions.
