Our 20 minute appointments:
Healthy Pet Exams-These 20 minute exams are tailored toward those healthy companions in need of their annual or bi-annual exam. If there are specific health concerns, (for example, you find a lump or your pet seems itchy) a wellness exam is better suited to meet your pet's needs.
Follow-up Exams-These exams are often needed for conditions such as Urinary Tract Infections, Ear Infections, Orthopedic condtions or any other issue where it is essential for the doctor to evaluate your pet's progress. This may be paired with a 15 minute nurse appointment to perform necessary diagnostics.
Our 40 minute appointments:
Wellness Evaluations-These 40 minute exams are tailored toward those pets who are having specific health concerns such as those mentioned above or perhaps your pet seems lethargic, has been vomiting, has diarrhea or lameness. These of course are just a few examples. This extended appointment gives the doctor adequate time to assess your companions condition, formulate a treatment plan and for the staff to perform necessary diagnostics.
Puppy and Kitten Exams - Our new pet exams go beyond simple wellness-checks as our veterinarians discuss housebreaking, litter box training, toy selection, feeding and other topics to help you develop the best possible relationship with your pet.
Senior Pet Evaluations -These exams combine semi annual wellness-checks with complete orthopedic and eye exams, blood work, dietary and weight management counseling, and health supplement recommendations to help mitigate age-related changes like arthritis.
Behavior Evaluations-We offer behavior consults for problems ranging from dogs who suffer separation anxiety to cats who potty outside the litter box. After the evaluation the doctor will recommend a program which may consist of a combination of behavior modification, medications and/or supplements to foster the best relationship possible with your companion.
Admit Appointments - As a service to you, we offer admit appointments where your companion stays with us until they are evaluated by the doctor. These are ways for your pet to be seen when all other exam times are booked or you are unable to attend with your pet.
Nursing Appointments - These appointments are performed by the nursing staff. They include services such as nail trims, vaccines, anal gland expression, blood draws for routine or follow-up labwork, urinalysis, and pre-surgical ECG. Nursing appointments are only possible when your pet has had an exam with the doctor within the last year.
